We haven't written up Darn Tough yet. Rather than fill this space with a generic summary, we leave it empty until an editor has actually shopped the brand and checked its size chart — who it suits, how the fit runs, where it falls short, and what to buy first.

From our researchOfficial size chart read directly: Men's XL fits US shoe 12.5-14.5; Men's XXL fits US shoe 15-17. XXL is the maximum men's size. Men's collection page states: 'we also knit select styles in extended sizing. So you can find a Darn Tough sock that fits your foot whether you wear a shoe size 2.5 (XS socks) or 17 (XXL socks).' LIMITATION: 'select styles' — XXL is NOT available across the full range and per-style XXL availability was not confirmed, hence breadth LIMITED. Chart advises sizing up if between sizes.
